Why Indian Skin Needs the Right Laser
Indian skin (Fitzpatrick Type III–V) has a higher melanin density than lighter skin types. Laser hair removal works by targeting melanin in the hair follicle — but if the wrong wavelength is used, it also heats the melanin in the surrounding skin, causing burns or post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
This is why the alexandrite 755nm laser — effective for fair skin — is not recommended for darker Indian skin. And why many clinics offering low-cost "laser packages" without Fitzpatrick-appropriate equipment produce poor results or skin damage.

What Happens at Each Session

Skin Assessment
Dr. Bhura assesses your Fitzpatrick skin type, hair colour, and density. Laser settings (wavelength, fluence, pulse duration) are determined before the first session.

Preparation
The treatment area is shaved 24 hours before. On treatment day, the area is cleaned and cooling gel is applied. Topical anaesthetic available for facial treatments.

Laser Treatment
The laser handpiece is applied to the skin. Built-in cooling keeps the surface comfortable. Sessions range from 5–10 minutes (underarms) to 45–60 minutes (full legs).

Post-Care & Follow-Up
Soothing cream applied. SPF 50+ sunscreen for 2 weeks. Sessions repeated at 4–6 week intervals until the 6–8 session course is complete.
